4-8th grade Vocal students,

 

It's time to record a new vocal audition for our Circle the State Region K Music Festival (24 students) and

auditions for OK Music Educators Association All-State Honor Choir.  Students MUST record an audition for,

and participate in our Region K Circle the State with Song Festival in order to be eligible for possible

nomination to the All-OMEA Children's All-State Choir.

**I have reserved Tuesday mornings at 7:45 a.m. in the music room (100) for students who are interested in

practicing the audition for Circle the State with Song or All-OMEA Children's Honor Choir.  We will rehearse

the audition, identify which vocal range (Soprano I or II, or Alto I or II) is best for each individual student,

and begin recording some students' auditions.

 

Please study the audition script and practice at home BEFORE you appear for your recording session.  Sign-

up sheet for recording slots  are posted on the Music Room door (Rm 100).

The blue highlighted tracks are divided into Soprano I and II and Alto I and II voice parts and Practice or

Audition tracks.  Students may rehearse with the Practice track but be aware that ALL auditions are recorded

with the Audition track, so it's a good idea to practice with it often.

 

 

The FINAL day for recording appointments is Friday, Sept 21st.
