Science Olympiad

What is Science OlympiadScience Olympiad is a rigorous National STEM competition that incorporates a wide variety of science topics. Each year teams compete in 23 events that vary in subject matter.  Students engage in engineering, life science, physical science, earth science, and nature of science topics.  Students will build, take test, and perform experiments in a competitive setting.  Want to know more? Important dates: 

  • December 1st – Jenks Math and Science Center, Jenks High School
  • January 19th – Putnam City High School
  • April 6th – State Tournament @ University of Central Oklahoma
  • May 31st- June 1st - Nationals in Ithaca, NY (of course we have to win state to attend)

Practice schedule: 

3:30-5:00 Monday, Wednesday, and lunch/recess practice on Wednesday
