We’re excited to launch Men on a Mission, a new Friday-morning volunteer program bringing positive male role models into our school community!
We’re inviting fathers, grandfathers, uncles, guardians, alumni, and other male community members to help welcome our Rockets on Friday mornings. Volunteers will greet students, open car doors, give high-fives, offer words of encouragement, and help every student start the day on a positive note! 🙌🚀

At the meeting, we’ll share the vision for Men on a Mission, volunteer expectations, and information about Oakdale’s required background-screening process.

🏃♀️ The FIRST-EVER Bash Dash at 6:45 PM!
And this is going to be FUN! 😂 Our admin and teachers are competing in the Bash Dash, and you get to vote for who takes home the gold! Votes are just $1 each and can be cast that evening. Check out the attached flyer to see who is competing!
🌮🍕🍖 Food trucks will be on site with dinner and dessert options from Psycho Taco, Rays BBQ, My Okie Heart Pizza, Babble, Snow S’more, and Baked Bear.

On Friday, the boys' and girls' teams each ran all grades—without splitting by grade level. With so many runners competing together, there was excitement from start to finish for both races!
We still had three medal winners: 🥇 Noah Bryant, Eden Bryant, and Ramsey Gary!

This month, we shine a light on sickle cell disease (SCD) and the individuals and families living with it every day.
Sickle cell disease is an inherited blood disorder that can cause severe pain, anemia, infections, and other serious health complications. Awareness and understanding can help build support, encourage early care, and remind those living with SCD that they are not alone.
Let’s use this month to learn, listen, support, and spread awareness about sickle cell disease. ❤️
