Our first PTC (Parent Teacher Club) meeting of the year is Tuesday, August 1 at 8:30 am in the Fine Arts, and we’d love to see some new faces! Especially if you’re a newer Oakdale family, this is a great way to learn more about our school and find a way to get involved. 🏫✨
The PTC is made up of parent volunteers who want to see Oakdale be the best school it can be. They help plan and coordinate activities that benefit our teachers, staff, students, and families throughout the school year. ❤️

What a strong start to the cross country season! Our 6th/7th grade boys brought home 2nd overall, while our 6th/7th grade girls finished 3rd overall! 🥈🥉

Aviation Club – 2026–2027 Interest Survey
Does your student have an interest in aviation, engineering, building, flying, or competition? We are excited to offer the Aviation Club to students in grades 4–8 this year!
Aviation Club will include three major components:
1. Weekly Club Meetings
2. Pre-Speedfest Flight Event
3. Speedfest Competition Weekend
April 23–25 in Stillwater.

We are excited to introduce Walking Wednesday for the 2026–2027 school year!
Every Wednesday morning, students are invited to meet at the Oakdale Valley Clubhouse at 8:00 AM, where we will walk to school together. It’s a fun and healthy way to start the day, build community, and show our Rocket pride!
📍 Meet: Oakdale Valley Clubhouse at 8:00 AM
👟 What: Walk to school together as a group
📅 When: Every Wednesday morning, unless it is raining or the wind chill is below 32 degrees
🚫🛴 Remember: No wheels—only feet!
Walking Wednesday will not affect after-school procedures.
We can’t wait to see our Rockets walking, talking, and starting the day together! Let’s make Walking Wednesday a great new tradition at Oakdale!

We’re excited for Pizza Days twice a month! 🍕🚀 Be sure to check the school menu to know which days pizza will be served. This Friday is the first pepperoni pizza day.
Each student’s tray includes:
🍕 1 slice of pizza
🥗 Romaine salad
🍎 Fruit
🥛 Milk
Students may purchase an extra slice for $2 as long as their lunch account has a positive balance.
A few important reminders:
Kindergarten students receive one slice only.
Middle school students must have their lanyard to purchase a second slice.
Join us from 6:00–7:00 p.m. and rotate through your student’s schedule, meet their teachers, visit their classrooms, and learn more about what happens in middle school!
💌 Don’t forget to stop by the Middle School Library! Visit our Parent Post and write a note of encouragement to your student. We’ll make sure they get it!
