Congratulations to Gunner Peterson, Laynie Pitts, Audrey Smith, Ava Calhoun, Luke Anderson, Stone Salak, Jack Stachowiak, Drew Lemons, Neel Rhodes, Quinn Salak, Megan Monsey, Blythe Charlton, Addison Lodes, Norah Shoop, and Riley Rihn! The Oakdale State Science Olympiad team earned an impressive 2nd place finish at UCO this weekend. Every student brought home a medal—outstanding work! Way to go, Rockets! 🚀

Oakdale fifth graders built underwater remote control vehicles. It took six weeks. Today they competed in the Jenks Regional Sea Perch competition and placed 1st and 3rd! Way to go, Rockets!

What a week! We’ve been absolutely showered with love ❤️ —desserts, massages, lunches, breakfasts, pizza from Oaks, drinks, flowers, boxes of goodies, recess duty coverage, and so much more. This week, the girls' golf team took 1st place at the Shawnee tournament, with three top-10 finishers: *Sydnee Manwell – 2nd *Ella Manwell – 5th *Finley May – 10th The boys' team earned a strong 2nd-place finish, with two top-10 performers: *Colton Willis – 3rd *William Stanford – 7th Great job to all our athletes! 🏆⛳ #ProudtoBeaRocket

What an incredible turnout for our first Oakdale Art Showcase! A huge thank you to Mrs. Camp, Mrs. Keyser, and Mrs. Blevins for their hard work in creating such beautiful displays. The variety of projects was amazing, and seeing students proudly share their artwork with parents and grandparents was truly special! Also, a big shoutout to OSF for their support and help in making this event a reality!

Thank you to our amazing PTC for spoiling us all day! From breakfast this morning to afternoon snacks and drinks from QT, plus covering recess duty—we felt so appreciated! There's a reason track athletes are called ‘The Marines of Athletics!’ After a 14-hour day at the Yukon Track Meet on Friday, these students will take away lessons in teamwork, resilience, friendship—and hopefully, some fun! Construction is picking up around here. Next week will bring some disruption to our normal procedures. The construction for the awning near the fine arts building will begin on Monday. This will not change drop-off or pick-up, but we will need to keep the circle parking area clear throughout the day. Families that typically drop-off / pick-up in the circle drive will continue to do that, but do not park there or you may come back to a cement paint job.

Kristy Payne, the founder of Fostering Sweet Dreams, came to speak to Builders Club today. Fostering Sweet Dreams is a nonprofit organization that provides beds and bedding to foster families and other vulnerable children in Edmond and throughout the state of Oklahoma. Builders Club voted to support this charity at the very beginning of the year and has been raising money since then. Anna Stewart, Builders Club treasurer, was the student who nominated this charity for consideration.

Today, our 6th-grade students had an exciting hands-on learning experience with a frog investigation led by Mrs. Harrison! This interactive lesson helped students explore anatomy, biology, and the wonders of the natural world in a memorable way. #ProudtoBeaRocket🚀
