Justin Colon, author of Quaken, visited Oakdale on our 67th day of school! 📚✨ He brought incredible energy and kept the crowd entertained as he shared his journey to becoming an author and what it takes to write a children’s book. 🎢✨ Our 7th-grade scientists have been on a roll—literally!
This week, students put their understanding of potential and kinetic energy into action by designing and building their very own roller coasters. Once their tracks were complete, they put them to the test to see just how smoothly (or wildly!) their creations could run!
From twists and turns to loops and drops, these projects were an awesome hands-on way to see physics come alive in the classroom. We loved the creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving on display.
