Happy School Resource Officer Day! 👮‍♂️💙
In recognition of SRO Day yesterday, today we want to give a huge THANK YOU to our incredible SRO, Steve Smith, for the care, protection, and support you provide our students and staff each day.

Law enforcement truly runs deep in his family—his father retired from the OKC Police Department, his brother-in-law continues to serve there, and his nephew will enter the academy this March. With 30 years of service in the OKC Police Department, primarily in patrol, along with time in the DARE/PAL program and as a School Resource Officer, Steve brings a lifetime of experience and dedication to our school. We are so grateful you are now part of the Oakdale family. 🚀

Beyond keeping us safe, we appreciate how you willingly pitch in wherever needed—scanning lunch cards in the cafeteria, helping Teddy clean floors, and even sitting down to have lunch with students. Those moments mean so much.
