📚✨ Exciting Author Visit! ✨📚 Oakdale is thrilled to welcome Dusti Bowling on Monday, April 14! She’s the amazing author behind several books that Oakdale students and teachers have enjoyed, and we’re so thankful to OSF for helping make her visit possible! Our students have been busy reading her books, writing poetry, and creating some truly awesome artwork inspired by her books — and now we get to meet her in person, and a few will get to enjoy lunch with her! 🎉 Bonus! Dusti will have books available for purchase for $9 each, and she’ll even sign them personally! If your child would like to purchase a book, you can send cash or a check made out to Best of Books. We can’t wait to celebrate reading and creativity with Dusti Bowling! 📖💫

Congratulations to Gunner Peterson, Laynie Pitts, Audrey Smith, Ava Calhoun, Luke Anderson, Stone Salak, Jack Stachowiak, Drew Lemons, Neel Rhodes, Quinn Salak, Megan Monsey, Blythe Charlton, Addison Lodes, Norah Shoop, and Riley Rihn! The Oakdale State Science Olympiad team earned an impressive 2nd place finish at UCO this weekend. Every student brought home a medal—outstanding work! Way to go, Rockets! 🚀

Oakdale fifth graders built underwater remote control vehicles. It took six weeks. Today they competed in the Jenks Regional Sea Perch competition and placed 1st and 3rd! Way to go, Rockets!

What an incredible turnout for our first Oakdale Art Showcase! A huge thank you to Mrs. Camp, Mrs. Keyser, and Mrs. Blevins for their hard work in creating such beautiful displays. The variety of projects was amazing, and seeing students proudly share their artwork with parents and grandparents was truly special! Also, a big shoutout to OSF for their support and help in making this event a reality!
